Ray Derstine, President and Founder – Mr. Derstine began his career in the office equipment industry in 1981. Starting as an Account Executive, his work ethic and integrity soon earned him a position of Sales Manager. In 1988, Mr. Derstine had the opportunity to join three other partners and founded Excel Office Systems of Montgomery County.
In 1991, he founded Altek Business Systems, Inc. His success in this industry is due to his passion for providing local and regional businesses with solutions that promote better efficiencies, increased profitability, and top quality service while maintaining the highest level of integrity.
Nick Phillips, Vice President of Sales - Mr. Phillips has been involved in the office equipment industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Altek Business Systems, Mr. Phillips served as Branch Regional Manager and Vice President of Sales for a nationally recognized, award winning organization within the office equipment industry. Mr. Phillips' success in the industry is due to his tremendous work ethic and passion for assisting clients with becoming more efficient and cost-effective with their budgets and document management needs. Mr. Phillips earned a Bachelor's Degree from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., where he also participated in four years of varisty football.
