Giving Back

Altek gives back to the community in many ways including membership and support of fundraisers for five local Chamber of Commerce, two summer camps, two YMCA and local Boys and Girls Club. Our largest support efforts go to the list of organizations below:

The mission of Keystone Opportunity Center is to help community members in need by offering a comprehensive array of social services that educate, encourage and empower them to become self-sufficient. Keystone's staff collaborates with hundreds of volunteers to:

  • House the Homeless in Upper Bucks and Montgomery Counties - providing a continuum of support from Homelessness Prevention to Emergency and Transitional Shelter and ultimately to Permanent Housing with case management across the board to help our families successfully maintain wholesome, safe housing.

  • Feed the Hungry – operating a food pantry serving hundreds of neighbours from across the Souderton Area School District dealing with food insecurity.

  • Educate Adults including Parents and their Children - from ESL and GED to parenting and citizenship, Keystone helps participants learn how to manage life situations in positive ways.

Penn Foundation provides compassionate, responsive, and innovative care that addresses the mental health, substance use, and intellectual disability needs of the community. Each year, they partner with more than 10,000 individuals and families to help them realize their fullest mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

They work closely with primary care physicians, schools, churches, businesses, and others to ensure that they are providing coordinated care that meets the needs of the whole person - mind, body, and spirit.

The staff at Penn Foundation strongly believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and the ability of every individual to live a meaningful life and as such, partner with individuals and families to help them realize their recovery and life goals in the community.

Lenape Valley Foundation has been providing professional mental health as we as intellectual and developmental disability services to thousands of children, adults, and families for over a half a century. Each day, they touch lives and offer the opportunity for restored hop, new skills, support for change and the realization of recovery from the challenges faced by so many.

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is a leader in providing services and supports for people with mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities. The Delaware County Holcomb Prevention department is located in Media, PA. Holcomb has been providing evidence-based prevention programs for youth and parents in Delaware County since 1997.

Today, Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems and affiliates are leaders in providing a comprehensive range of services and supports for people with mental health, substance abuse, intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders. Additionally, they provide an array of prevention and educational programs for youth, parents and adults to encourage healthy choices and lifestyles.

The philosophy which guides their services and supports is the belief that every individual has the right to develop his or her fullest potential. They recognize the uniqueness of each individual and tailor our services in a manner that is culturally competent, focusing on the individual’s strengths, needs, abilities, interests and desires.
