Making a Difference In The Community
One of Altek’s core values is prioritizing the community. When we had the opportunity to donate our time and efforts to Habitat for Humanity, we gladly rolled up our sleeves and put in the work.
Habitat for Humanity is a partnership, not a giveaway program. Habitat’s homeowner families buy the houses that Habitat builds and renovates. Habitat homeowners also invest hundreds of hours of their own labor working alongside volunteers. As a result, Habitat for Humanity houses are affordable to low-income families around the world.
Altek helped renovate two homes to assist families in need. We received lessons from volunteers on how to properly paint, build, and assist in the contracting. We had a great time and are grateful to have made a difference.
